A Tryst with MTNL

Long weeks ago I made a tryst with MTNL, and now the time comes when I shall redeem my pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world is partying, I will awake to unlimited internet. A moment comes, which comes pretty much everyday, when we step out from the slow to the fast, when a tariff plan ends, and when the soul of an internet surfer, long suppressed, finds freedom. It is fitting that at this happy moment we take the pledge of dedication to the internet and her websites and to the still larger cause of netizens.

A set of limericks on Mobius strips

Take some paper that is straight
and try this, it's great!
Hold the end,
Give it a bend
A mobius strip you did create.

This strip has only one side
But physics it does abide
Out is in
It doesn't begin
Because of the twisted divide

Cut it all around
Straighten it on the ground
One piece you will see
In the debris
Unharmed by its wound

Ode to Pizza

Ode to pizza

Pizza, Oh glorious pizza
What is life without thee?
A daily slice
will not suffice
The hunger you create in me

Pizza, Oh glorious pizza
how do you entice me so?
I just can't wait
until you're on my plate
then—down the hatch you go!

Pizza, Oh glorious pizza
I think highly of you
You are a pioneer
making people adhere
to one of your slices or two

Pizza, Oh glorious pizza
my feelings are hard to convey
My taste buds fight
with all their might
for the taste that you display
